Discovering God Through Nature Workshop
God hasn’t changed from his first encounters with man in the Garden of Eden in that he still desires to spend time with us. Likewise, many people find solace in nature in an effort to connect with God. It is a perfect place for spiritual renewal and to search for answers. God is accessible to all. It just is a matter of seeking Him.
Cynthia teaches a workshop that helps attendees learn how to incorporate worship by nature journaling, scripture reading, prayer and meditation while in the mountains to the shore and everyplace in between.
She is available to speak at church women’s retreats and camps the how-to’s of this unique experience to become closer to God.

What others are saying about the Discovering God Through Nature Workshop

Karen
“Experiencing creativity in God’s nature. It was such a good experience to draw nature around me at the same time I was in worship. It brought out my creative energy as I looked on God’s delicate and intricate creation.”

Debbie
“Through reading the Word and incorporating different exercises one becomes more aware of who God is, His love for us, how he listens to us and helps guide us.”

Ann
“It encourages us to slow down and appreciate God’s creation as well as His care for us, and to take the time to praise and listen to Him.”

Tonya
“The exercises, in conjunction with seeking God’s presence through His Word allowed me to listen, know, and enjoy Him in a unique way. I remember through your exercises being able to experience the quiet beauty of His creation: the gentle wind through the trees, the warmth of the sun, the smell of the flowers, the sound of the birds and insects, while meditating on His Word. This helped me to be more present and know my Creator and my Savior through His incredible gifts to me. I also learned how to be more intentional of my need to get away from the chaos of the world and back to the beauty of His creation: which the Lord wanted me to enjoy with Him.”
